About EMDR Basic Training

What is it?

EMDR Basic Training is a comprehensive program that equips mental health professionals with the skills to effectively treat trauma-related disorders using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

  What's Included in Basic Training?

 

    1. Lecture - 20 hours of didactic teaching

            The history of EMDR therapy, AIP (Adaptive Information Processing),

             8 Phases of EMDR therapy, 3 prongs - Past, Present and Future               

    2. Practicum - 20 hours experience

            Apply in a  practical and confidential setting the  EMDR therapy  protocol. 

    3. Consultation - 10 hours of group discussion 

             Between 2 training weekends trainees will use  EMDR therapy in their

             individual practices and then discuss in group,  successes and questions.

    4. Assessment - EMDRIA assessment for learning

            An assessment will be provided as a training  aid.

            It is not pass/fail but merely feedback.

   Friday, January 10 -- 8:00 - 5:00
   Saturday, January 11 -- 8:00 - 5:00

 2nd Weekend
   Thursday, February 20 -- 1:00 - 5:00
   Friday, February 21 -- 8:00 - 5:00
   Saturday, February 22 -- 8:00 - 5:00

 Lunches Friday and Saturday are provided

Pricing

 

EMDR Basic Training is a total of 50 hours comprised of 3 parts:

20 hours the first weekend.

10 hours of consultation (2 hours weekly, a total of 5 times).

20 hours the 2nd weekend.

The total for all three required training sections is $1,500. Setting up 3 payments of $500 each is upon request. Please email Jane at [email protected] to request a payment plan.
